Komitet Samoobrony Społecznej, Social Self-Defense Committee/KOR, KSS-‘KOR’) in Poland that played a direct “service” role in the emergence of Solidarity (or Solidarność, the first non-Communist party-controlled trade union in the Warsaw Pact countries) in 1980.
