Today’s post in recognition and honor of Black History Month is the short bibliography or “brief reading guide” for The Black Athlete and Sports. The photos, from top to bottom: Leroy Robert “Satchel” Paige, Jacqueline “Jackie” Joyner-Kersee, Jack (John Arthur) Johnson, Muhammad Ali, and Alan Cedric Page. I have one compilation, on boxing, with some family resemblance to today’s bibliography.
